A GATHERING WATERS FUNDRAISER · AT ALOHA KEENE
Nurturing Your Inner Life
An afternoon for adults to rest and replenish.
Embodied movement, gentle writing and drawing, and the deep rest of Yoga Nidra, in support of our school community.

An invitation to pause
So many of us spend our days caring for others: children, students, family members, community. This afternoon is an invitation to pause.
Inspired by Waldorf education’s commitment to nurturing the whole human being — head, heart, and hands — this three-hour, donation-based workshop offers space to move, release stress, and rest in community. No experience is necessary. Come as you are.
You’re welcome to come on your own and really soak in the space, or to share the invitation with someone who might appreciate it.
Three ways of listening inward
Embodied movement and dance
Gentle, guided movement to music. There are no steps to learn and no right way to do it. You move in whatever way feels good, at your own pace.
Writing & drawing
Simple prompts for putting what you notice into words and images. No artistic skill needed, and nothing you make is shared unless you want it to be.
Yoga Nidra
A guided practice of conscious rest, lying down and fully supported. Nothing to do, nothing to achieve. Just a place to settle.
A fundraiser for Gathering Waters Charter School

An opportunity to care for ourselves while also supporting our school community. All proceeds from this workshop go to Gathering Waters, as part of Aloha Keene’s January partnership with the school.
$40 suggested donation
If you’re able to give more, it goes straight to the school. If cost is a barrier, please reach out. We’d love for you to be there.
